“Learning Today for Tomorrow” is the
motto of Yarrunga Primary School. We have a strong focus on the
possible futures for our students. We aim to give each student
high-level skills, particularly in the areas of literacy and numeracy,
and the foundation social skills of confidence, organization,
persistence and an ability to get along with others. We provide
opportunities for our students to develop skills in using information
technology, including the Internet and multimedia applications, to
prepare them for future learning and work. Our aim is for all students
to be socially competent, highly skilled, community minded individuals
with a positive view of their futures. |
